About The Role
This is a part-time role for an Information Technology Support Specialist at Moore Tech Guru LLC in Philadelphia, PA. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our clients. This role requires expertise in desktop computers, information technology, and help desk support. The position is an on-site role and will involve working closely with clients to resolve their IT issues and ensure smooth operations.

Our IT Services team consists of IT Support, IT AV, IT Infrastructure, and IT Executive Support. Collectively, we strive to elevate the support experience across Moore Tech Guru to its pinnacle. This encompasses the meticulous efforts of our Support team in delivering exceptional user experiences through direct support channels
About The Job
- Provide IT Support to clients and co-workers via remote support through our ticketing system, and in person support. Be a point of contact for your assigned office.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, including hardware deployment, equipment setup, and software.
- Ensure the in office AV equipment in conference rooms are maintained and working properly, providing support when needed
- Provide support for our main software platforms, Gmail, Azure, Exchange, and Zoom
- Troubleshoot and Support macOS, ChromeOS, and Windows end users
- Become familiar with all aspects of our IT environment to help support, maintain, and scale it
- Assist in keeping our knowledge base and documentation up-to-date
Qualifications
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
- You are familiar with macOS, Windows, ChromeOS & Android operating systems
- Your tech savvy and delivering great customer service
- Help Desk Support experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus
- Ability to occasionally lift 40 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of working with Mac, iOS, Windows, ChromeOS & Android operating systems
- 1+ years of experience with Google Workspace
- Familiar with the following systems: Microsoft Planner, Asana and Slack
- You have a good understanding of AV systems (including Zoom, Hangouts, or Teams)
- You are inclined to Google things you don’t know before asking someone but not afraid to ask a question when you don’t know what you don’t know.
- You have a friendly personality and love to teach others
Offers may vary based on many factors, such as candidate experience and skills required for the role.
The pay range for this position is between $24-27 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as candidate’s skills, relevant experience, and fit for the role.
